The US dollar has risen over 4.40 against the Turkish Lira, which is the highest it has ever been. The collapse of the Lira is seemingly unstoppable.

The exchange rate started at 4.3675 this morning, and after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke to Bloomberg International about monetary policy, rose to the record 4.3981 – after which it kept climbing to 4.40.

Euro has broken another record as well at 5.2515 against the Lira. The Turkish Lira is the currency that has lost the most value against the USD after the South African Rand.
